SECOND CHARM FURNITURE: QUOTING THOREAU

Henry David Thoreau, the respected poet, philosopher, naturalist and development critic once wrote the following:

 I had three chairs in my house; one for solitude, two for friendship, three for society.  

On this note, I share below, SECOND CHARM  latest collections of chairs, armchairs, settees, benches, ottomons and stools. Most of them are vintage pieces that have been restored and reupholstered.  A few are great mid century finds.  In fact, a pair has a label:  Made in Sweden. Whether all wood or a combination of wood and metal, I leave it to you to pick up as to which is for solitude, which for  friendship and which for society. 

The fishbone chair  and matching ottomon that we helped Chris and Stanley 

reupholstered in vibrant fuschia  and purple.  We rechromed

the legs and love how they turned out.
