SECOND CHARM FURNITURE - COMBINING DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITY

Dear All

Often we hear from those living in modern apartment,  about space constraints or the need to have extra space.  One possibility of  transcending this problem is to have furniture that can combine functions - double or better still multiple functions. A furniture that can multi tasks is what is needed and relevant nowadays. There are many instances.  A sofa into a bed, a chair into a ladder, an ottomon as a storage, to suggest a few examples. The challenge, however, is that functionality in this case,  need not, and must not sacrifice design.  Combining beauty and functionality is really an art form.  

Below is our small and initial attempt to create furniture that can serve more than one purpose.  Working with good old teak, we create coffee tables that can as serve as magazine and book racks and end tables with attached lamp that is space saving. Inspired by modern scandinavian furniture, we strive for simple, clean lines that give elegance and avoid the sense of clutter.
