Dear All
In my last posting, I mentioned about taking up the challenge of experimenting with colours, designs and textures and to mix, match, blend or even contrast period pieces of different eras for that unique combination and character. Even while I was suggesting that, a creative customer of mine, Teja, was already picking up individual chairs from stacks of chairs in my Kuala Lumpur outlet and got us to paint the wooden frames in light cream and reupholster them in different fabric colours and designs. She must have fun picking up the different fabrics. And the outcome is certainly delightful, as seen below.
Beautiful, vibrant colours and designs, individually picked
by Teja for that unique contrasting combination.
It must be joyful to have meals at this dining table daily.
Each chair seems to have a personality of its own.
A wing chair that we reupholstered for Laysie in lovely polkadots fabric.
Old french armchair given a new look. Laysie experiments with specific
shades of white to suits the fabric of her choice. Its just not any white.
This white is Sanyo white that borders to light grey and matches
the colour of the fabric beautifully.
Some of us have weakness for country designs and roses, isnt it?
