Dear All
Have you seen this month's edition of Square Rooms. The cover showed a scan teak day bed in a beautiful and refreshing natural ambience, in line with its eco concept. We had the same bed only a couple of months ago. It has been taken up by Jasmyn, an interior designer in Kuala Lumpur. We are still waiting for her to bring us the fabric to do the bed cover. I'm sure, she will be able to create an ambience as beautiful and as refreshing as that depicted in the cover page of Square Rooms magazine, with the day bed from us.
Check out too pages 36 and 37 of this interior design magazine. Some of SECOND CHARM'S before and after pieces were featured to show the potential of old and preloved pieces and the beautiful outcomes of restoration and refurbishment, thereafter. Some of those featured were Siew Huey's rocking chair, Sarah Hopkin's art deco wardrobe and NoorHisham's office chair in retro fabric. I'm sure the social responsibility message of Square Rooms is shared by all of us: the importance of conservation and the need for sustainability for a better world. To Tracy Tang of Square Rooms, many thanks for giving us the opportunity to be part of this movement.
Sharing with you some of our restored pieces, below.
A rare 4-seater teak retro sofa taken up by Chuan. It consists of two
2-seaters with arms only on one side and joined in the middle
and yet separable. Interesting concept. The set is perfect with
the an equally vintage fabric from us.
