Going Green

Hello Reader, today's theme is GREEN!

First of all, Bobs is a great place to go GREEN and repurpose old furniture.  Bobs's warehouse is chock full of quality furniture that just needs a new home (perhaps your house?).  Some pieces just need a new environment to bring the sparkle back while others needs a little more TLC.  Check out this great tutorial about painting old furniture.

Lastly, Bobs saves you money (which is colored GREEN).  The furniture is priced to sell and all proceeds benefit the Outreach Community Center.  Bobs takes green money and also plastic credit cards.

And one more green pun- I am GREEN with envy that Susan is on vacation this week!  Hopefully she is some place glamorous and exotic.

I hope you come to visit Bobs this weekend (Friday 1-8, Saturday 9-4)

Very cute wooden church bench- perfect for sitting close to your loved one. $245.

Some GREEN couches!! Large sofa is priced at $155 while the love seat is $125.

This tiled coffee table wasn't priced when I took the picture, but looks great with the green sofas.

Awesome black wire chairs- perfect for sitting outside in this weather. Each chair is $40.00

These GREEN chairs are the coolest item this week, in my opinion.  Banard & Simonds Co chairs from Grand Rapids, $75 each (there are two).

For some reason my camera made these pieces seem a lot brighter yellow than they actually are...  you'll have to stop by this weekend to view these beauties in person. Lovely gold wingback chairs, $95 each.  Beautiful Heritage sofa $225.

This white sofa is really unique!  $275 for this antique, double cane sofa with two matching accent pillows.

Sweet vintage tea cart- the sides go up to make it a large space and the tray is removable. $100.

While I was taking the pictures of the tea cart, I got distracted by this amazingly comfortable Room and Board rug. It's a floor sample priced for $65 and looks like this one on their website.  8'2" by 11'6"

This beautiful shelving unit is priced at $135.  This is one of those pieces that would be really amazing with a spray paint in a fun color.  Perhaps green??

Marble topped coffee table for $45.  It matches two end tables that were already in the store! (see below picture)

Marble topped end table, $35 (there are two).

Black metal lounge chairs, $35 each.

Cozy plaid armchair, $55.

Green stripped Hickory Hills love seat, $65.

Hickory dining table with  2 leaves, table pad and 6 chairs. $345.  AND it goes really well with the hutch and buffet in the top picture.

Again, my camera is playing tricks on you with the color.  The love seat is a pretty gold color, priced at $45.  American of Martinsville armchairs, $65 each.

This is the deal of the week!  This wooden chest is only $5!!  It does have a lot of scratches on it, but this is the perfect project to DIY into something special.

Oooooh, Someone will be getting very lucky with this great find!  Metal patio furniture with red cushions.  Patio chairs- $20/each, chaise patio chairs- $55/each, tea cart (with removable tray) $20, patio table w/2 chairs- $80.  This set is in wonderful condition!

Very practical outside storage locker- $50.

I hope you are inspired to come to Bobs this weekend to pick out the perfect items for your home!
