Dear All
Had some lovely finds this week. I'm putting them up here quickly so that you may enjoy them, perhaps seriously considering them. Not all are vintage pieces. However, whether you keep them as is, or restore, reupholster or repaint them, they will certainly add character to your home. Having unique, individualized pieces that result from your creative choice and taste, is certainly fun and sets you apart from the mass culture of uniformity and lack of identity.
One creative customer of mine, illustrates this well. He sent me the pictures below.
Most of the pieces, like the louvre doors, old wooden doors, french armchair, lampshade, lamp stand, picture frames and mirrors, came from Second Charm, Kuala Lumpur. I could hardly recognize them because of the creative transformation and they look simply awesome. But then, this is the creative touch of non other than Malaysian's renowned fashion designer and stylist, Victor Goh. Reading his CV will really blow you away (www.victorgoh.com). Thanks Victor, for sharing and inspiring.
Perhaps, the pieces below will help you in creating unique combinations that will enhance your individuality and creativity.
